Branched at base into 6 main trunks, to 6 m. diameter. Bark light grey brown, longitudin, ally rugose. Leaves dark green, dull above, midrib lt. green, pale green beneath. Pedicels and calyx light yellowish green; petals pale green; corona and filaments creamy white. Stigmas green. Immature fruits pale green turning black on picking (bruising?, ). Ripe fruits reputedly red, eaten by birds ! | ||||
