| Notes: | Label source: Close to the main road running west from Puerto Escondido towards Pinotepa Nacional near the small village of San Isidro Llano Grande which lies about 40 km west of Puerto Escondido on narrow coastal plains south of the Sierra Madra del Sur, about 5km inland from the Pacific coast. Small multiple stemmed tree to 7m ht. with a narrow crown. Bark mid grey brown with reddish brown outer bark gradually flaking off in papery strips. Tree almost leafless, a few leaves persistent on basal respro, uts, slightly discolourous, mid yellow green slightly glossy above, paler below. Heavy crop of ripe inflated pale straw yellow pods. Frequent, scattered in dry secondary thorn forest with Acacia, Caesalpinia, Prosopis, Piscidia and Gliricidia. | ||||
