| Notes: | Label source: Close to the main Pacific coast road running west from Puerto Escondido on narrow coastal plains about 2km inland from the Pacific coast. Small branchy tree to 6m ht. Bark smooth mid grey brown with rusty brown lenticels arranged in a mor, secode pattern in horizontal lines. Flowers densely packed on globose flower heads on a raceme of flower head fascicles, calyx and corolla pale green, stamen filaments, anthers and style creamy white, anthers hairy. Ripe and unripe pods, greenish brown, turning orange brown when ripe. Locally frequent in degraded dry forest and secondary dry scrub with Pterocarpus, Enterolobium, Prosopis, Albizia, Acacia and Gliricidia. | ||||
