| Notes: | Flora of Mexico. Close to the main road running north from Juchitan and La Ventosa towards Acayucan about 12km north of La Ventosa or 20km south of the town of Matias Romero in low windswept hills north of the plains of the Tehuantepec isthmus. Medium-siz, ed tree to 12 m ht. with heavy branching and an open crown; dbh 35 cm. Bark rough, with deep verticle fissures and corky ridges, yellow-brown. Foliage mid green slightly glossy above. Heavy crop of ripe and unripe fruits,green turning straw-yellow when ri, pe. Locally frequent in degraded dry deciduous forest with Gliricidia sepium, Acacia pennatulata, Mimosa tenuiflora, Leucaena lanceolata and Lonchocarpus. | ||||
