| Notes: | Mexico: Puebla, E slopes of Tehuacan Valley, ca 15 km E of Coxcatlan on road to Zoquitlan and Coyomeapan. Dry hillside above abandoned cultivation with Schinus molle, Prunus sp. and Acacia sp. Locally common spindly shrub to scrappy multiple-stemmed treel, et to 3-5 m with older branches spreading or slightly pendulous and younger branches erect. Main trunks 5 cm diam. with smooth grey, unfissured bark and scattered white lenticels flush to bark surface. Wood creamish yellow. Bark of main branches fissured,, exuding clear sap when cut. Leaflets bluish green, some with a reddish tinge. Calyces green with purplish teeth. Petals white, filaments green, anthers yellow, mature fruit brown, seeds ochre.
