| Notes: | Label source: About 1km south of the town of Dzilam de Bravo which lies on the north coast of the Yucatan Peninsula about 110km north-east of the departmental capital of Merida, on low lying limestone plains near the mangrove swamps. Small tree to 8m ht., ; DBH 25cm. form twisted with heavy branching and an open crown Thorny. Bark with deep vertical fissuring, grey on the surface, dark brown in fissures. Foliage mid green, ovary and stigma whitish yellow, stamens bright yellow with dirty brown anthers. A f, ew unripe green pods. Common scattered close to the coast with Caesalpinia vesicaria, C.yucatanensis, C.gaumeri, Leucaena leucocephala and Pithecellobium ebano. | ||||
