| Notes: | Label source: Close to the main road running south from San Salvador towards the Pacific coast at La Libertad about 10km north of La Libertad in low coastal hills. Medium-sized tree to 12m ht. heavily branched open crown with some resprouting after loppi, ng. Bark dark brown vertically fissured, inner bark reddish, young stems mid grey brown with orange brown lenticels. A few persistent flowers on long terminal racemes of flower heads; stamen filaments dirty cream white. Low seed set and very few unripe an, d ripe pods. Foliage discolourous, leaves shedding. Infrequent, scattered in highly disturbed dry deciduous tropical forest with Cordia alliodora, Cassia grandis, Andira inermis and Gliricidia sepium. | ||||
