| Notes: | Label source: Mexico: Oaxaca, 15 km E of Rio Grande on main coastal highway from Puerto Escondido to Pinotepa Nacional, near small settlement of Cacalote. Coastal Plain. Common living fence line species. Small multiple-stemmed tree to 7 m, DBH 15-20 cm,, scrappy semi-scandent, semi-pendulous dense twiggy crown with a mass of interwoven erect new growth. Bark greyish, pale brown, fissured, slash salmon-pink, wood very hard. Leaves slightly disclourous, bluish-green, darker above. Calyx whitish green, peta, ls white, filaments and style white fading pink, anthers deep brown. Immature fruit green, mature fruit brown collected from ground. Duplicates: Mexu | ||||
