| Notes: | Label source: Mexico: Puebla, close to border with Oaxaca, ca. 12 to 15 km NE of Santiago Chazumba on highway 125 to Tehuacan. WSW of Zapotitlan Salinas. Deciduous thorn scrub with agave, cactus, Senna and Acacia. Tree 6m, DBH 25-30 cm. Bark dark grey; b, lackish, deeply fissured, ribbed with angular ridges from which occasionally arise thorns. Young branchlets rusty tomentose with a pink tinge. Calyx and corolla pink, filaments white, anthers yellow. Fruit spiny, rusty tomentose tinged pink. Duplicates: M, exu | ||||
