Notes: | Label source: A tall tree, from 80 to 100 ft. Furnished at the base with large radiating plank buttresses. The wood is frequently very ornamental, though soft, it is strong and very tough and takes a fine finish. Used to a small extent for boat buildi, ng, etc. Distribution common in lowland, semi swamp and gully forests extending southwards to latitude of 42 on east and latitude 46 on the west of South Island |
