Notes: | Label source: Distribution- North Island. Common in forests from the N Cape southwards to Rotorua and the East Cape. A small tree 30 - 40 ft high. The timber is light brown in colour, tough, strong and of great elasticity. It is used in coach and rai, lway carriage building and for ships blocks. |
