Notes: | Label source: Distribution: North and South Islands. Stewart Island. Common in forests from the North Cape southwards. A tall tree 40-80ft. high. The timber is yellowish brown in colour, but somewhat brittle. It is a very durable timber out of the ground, and is much used for weatherboarding and flooring. |
