Notes: | Label source: From Abril Corpn. (GB) Ltd. Bridgend, Glam. Pharm. Division Directions for use - Sterilisation not being liable to contamination with tetanus spores, 'Autosorb' is effectively sterilised under steam pressure. 'Autosorb' should be packed for, the steriliser in the usual manner enclosed in gauze. With reasonable effciency of the autoclave drying mechanism after sterilisation 'Autosorb' will flow freely from the gauze bags. It is advisable that the gauze bags are not packed to tightly. The aim, should be to leave a small space between the upper level of the powder and the ligature with which the gauze pack is tied. This permits a shaking movement of the powder when it is dusted on to any surface by 'dabbing' motions, and ensures free flow. |
