Notes: | Label source: A light yellowish coloured timber, fairly hard and heavy, and close textured with little sapwood. It is readily worked and is suitable for cabinet work and joinery work, interior fittings of all kinds, mouldings, cask staves, boat building,, carriage work and light handles. Occurs as a large tree in the brush forests of northern New South Wales and in Queensland. H = moderately hard W = 44 - 50 lb per cub. ft. |
