Opuscular source: Amarah Paddy Sample of Paddy grown in Amarah (Iraq) asking whether one of our departments can undertake to issue a certificate stating the various qualities, of seed or foreign matter contained in the said sample. We are chiefly concerned with the admixture of small seed with the appearance of millet and we shall thank you to express an opinion in this connection, as we have been given to understand in anothe, r quarter that there is room for doubt. It has in fact been suggested that this small seed might represent 'immature paddy'. Offering to pay Slim Homsey & Co, 37 St Mary Hse. (m.374.31) | ||||
