Notes: Label source: A pinkish-coloured, close textured timber, becoming a light brown on exposure. It has no prominent figure, easily worked, suitable for cabinet work, interior joinery, mouldings, linings etc. The wide sap-wood which is not pronounced is very, liable to attack by the Powder Post Borer. The tree sometimes has a very irregular bole, often deeply channelled, and not plentiful in commercial sizes. It occurs as a fair sized tree averaging a height of 80ft and 6ft girth, in the coastal brushes of Ne, w South Wales and Queensland. H = Moderately soft. W = 32 - 37 lb per cub. ft.
