| Notes: | Label source: Keratto fibre - Very abundant on rocky hills in Jamaica. Leaves 5 to 6 feet long about 1 foot broad each weighing to 10 to 15 lbs. Fibre extracted with difficulty owing to hardness of substance of leaves and caustic nature of the juice. The, latter yields a vegetable soup which may be used in salt water. | ||||
