| Notes: | Label source: Leaf and small sample of fibre from the United States of Colombia, Central America. Valued in its present state at #20 per ton but if properly prepared might fetch #28. Probably a species of Bromelia. Fibre agrees nearest to that in ? label, led Pita fibre, Bromelia Pita New Guinea (or New Grenada). Purdie. D. Voelcker, RHS. Sc. Comm. Near B Pinguin.
