Chief Superintendent, Research Department, Woolwich, S.E.18. The cellu, lose material C33-1B-34 (2) which proved more suitable for examination in the second sample, appears to be the fibre (with other tissue) of a species of Musa. L.A.B. 5/5/27. (The above to replace report on first sample. M244/27 The sample of cellulose (C, 33-1P-32 (2)) is the fibre of a monocotyledonous plant but it has not been found possible to determine it from what particular plant the fibre has been derived. L.A.B. 02/05/1927. Letter 30th April 1927 further sample recieved - raw material which it was, thought might be better to identify. Mr Boodle.
