Notes: | Label source: Portion of the fig tree under which it is said the Holy Family rested on their journey across the desert. It is about 8 miles from Cairo and 4 from Heliopolis. Visited by all Europeans, it is said to be about 50 yds from the original place, it was planted and reached its present spot by off-shoots. It bears abundantly and much foliage. |
