Notes: | Label source: I beg to forward you specimens of the tree named locally Tira (Tee ra) and under separate cover chippings from it including sap wood and bark. The tree was formerly v. abundant of hill slopes between 2500 and 4000 ft, going a good deal high, er, but has not then the girth or height of those grown between these elevations. Lumber is v durable but is rarely employed on account of difficulty in working. It has not yet been described, but that is an easy point for you to decide.
