Notes: | Label source: Dark, reddish brown coloured timber, resembling Brush Box. Chiefly used for piles. Resists attack of marine borers longer if left with the bark on. Inner layers contain deterrent resin. Shipbuilding, decking,etc. very fire resistant but i, nclined to warp and twist in seasoning. Large forest tree found on coast districts and mountains of NSW and Queensland. Hard 55-65lb per cu ft. |
