Leaflets fleshy, glaucous blue-green with pinkish purple margins. Sepals green with tinged reddish purple, ± persisting to fruiting, glandular-margined, reflexed on open flower then closing forward as flower fades and becoming scarlet. Sep, als tending to drop by time fruit mature. Standard petal bright yellow, laterals yellowish with pale reddish orange veining and suffused pale orange at apices. Dorsal face of standard with yellowish or reddish-tipped glands, laterals glandular at margins., Filaments yellowish, glandular, reflexed, filament hairs white. Stigma chamber tubular, ± terminal. Anthers red, upper ones dehiscing first.
