Notes: Label source: Rose petal beads: The black beads in this rosary are made entirely from rose petals, which are said to permanently retain their scent. The petals are minced and re-minced many times, after which they are placed in an iron tin to give the eb, ony colour. The pulp is then shaped into beads of the required size which are dried in the air on large pins or knitting needles.
