Notes: Label source: Said to be used by the Tauregs of the Sahara against scorpions. Small ground plant, known in Hausa and Tamasheq as the milk of doves. Dried and powdered and eaten with food gives immunity from the bite of scorpions - no evil experienced, from bite. If rubbed on hand flesh when plant exudes a milk, person can handle scorpions safely as they will not bite him. Nov 1922. Found in Air and Sudan.
