Andropogon costatus - Boiled as Espunto ? is boiled - in alkali yield 50 per cent - but has not been submitted to the ordinary process of pulping and washing which as this mass contains a very large amount of glutenous co, mpounds would involve a further loss of yield of pine film fit for bleaching and conversion into paper.
