Notes: Label source: A pale, brownish-coloured wood, frequently showing bluish or yellow discolourations. It is moderately close textured and easily worked, but is firm and tough. Although available in comparatively large quantities, it is not used extensively,, since the wide sapwood is liable to borer destruction. It is used for flooring, lining, turnery, brush stocks, white lead casks and for drawer sides, etc., in cabinet work. Yellow carabeen reaches a height of about 120ft and 4ft diameter in the brush for, ests of northern New South Wales and southern Queensland. H = Moderately hard. W = 30 - 42 lb per cub. ft.
