Notes: Label source: A pink to brownigsh coloured, moderately open-textured, straight-grained tough, strong wood. The sapwood is pale in colour, and is liable to destruction by borers. It is suitable for general building purposes, bent-work for chairs, heavy ca, binet work, axe and tool handles, etc. A large tree found in the brush forests of northern New South Wales and Queensland. Hard about 54lb per cub. ft. Division of wood technology, Forestry Comm. New South Wales.
