| Notes: | Label source: Map included. Tree 4 to 5 meters tall with many small, 3 to 6 dm. dbh arching stems. Flowers yellow. Common in C. A. Roadsides & rochy slopes near houses. B. Edge of maiz and potato fields on terraces and hedgerows. C. Steep very rocky (Cal, careous) South facing slopes with many Cereus & Opuntia cacti, Bromeliads, few trees (Escallonia) with Tillandsia usneoides, many shrubs, all heavily grazed. Valley of Rio Colcachaca at Cotarusi-Colca ca. 1 km. above junction w. Rio Chalhuanca ca. 15 km., (air) S of Chalhuanca @ 9900-10100 feet (ca. 3000-3100 m) | ||||
