Notes: Label source: Probably the most abundant wood in the Colony. It is so rich in resinous substances that it is difficult to work unless drained, as it gums the saw. Resin, turps and tar could be extracted in large quantities. Grows to aheight of 60 to 80, ft with a diam of 10 to 12 ins.
