Notes: Label source: Pale coloured moderately close textured firm timber usually straight grained and without distinctive figure. Bark has strong odour when freshly cut. Sapwood is not clearly defined, is not attacked by the Powder Post borer. Apt to dull saws, and machine irons quickly, otherwise it is readily worked and polished. Large quantities, the tree reaching a ht of 120 ft and 9 ft girth, occurring in brush forests north of Milton, South Coast, New South Wales, extending into Queensland. Moderately h, ard, 31-46lb per cu ft.
